Choose one of the titles listed there that you haven’t read. Read it through carefully and think about whether it is a book you’d like to read based on the other grade 5 student’s write-up. Add a comment to that particular write-up stating:
what sounds good about the book,
whether you’ve read other books by the same author,
or a similar theme book by a different author,
if you would recommend them, and
one thing you liked about that student’s book report (a particular phrase, the event he talked about, the way he sounds enthusiastic about the book, etc.)
Then, leave a comment for our post for this assignment saying, if you think reading book reports from other blogs will give you ideas for your own reading and why or why not. (Make your reason “substantive”.)

1. The thing sounds good about the book when wendy says monsters are so into jelly.
2. No I did not read any books of the same author.

The story pencil of doom sounded fun because a boy had a pencil that was haunting him for a long time and he was trying to get rid of the pencil by giving it to somone or throwing it but everytime he throws it away or gives it to somone it comes back to him.

The book I am going to talk about today is TWILIGHT! The book sounds realy good because Edward is tring to protect Bella from James. I would like to read other books from the same auother. I would recommend this book to anybody who likes vampiers! The book sounds like alout of people would read it and alout of people have already read it!

The story Battle of Labrynth sounds good because it sounds like it involves anciant Greek/Roman mythical creatures and I like that kind of thing. I’ve never read anything by that author or of that theme but it still sounds good. I liked how there weren’t many,if any mastakes; spelling,grammar ect. and it was intresting .

The story Diary of the wimpy kid sounds good because it tells he didn’t get to wear clothes. I have never read a book with the same author. I have never read a book with the same theme. I like this book becuase it so hilarious and some parts are random and his wierd parents.

I chose Twilight because I’ve never read the book and it sounded interesting.
1.I think what sounds best about the book is that they added vampires.
2.No, I haven’t read books by the same author.
3. I have read a book about vampires, but they’re trying to keep a secret. Not to protect a person.

I read Horror At Camp Jelly Jam. It sounds good when the counsler comes in and says that they were going to camp Jelly Jam. I have read a book from the same author before called Goosebumps but I have never read a book that had the same theme by a different author before. I would recommend the Goosebumps books because it is very exciting. One thing I liked about the book report was that it was well written. It left me wanting to read the book.

It sounded good because the camp was called camp jelly jam. I have not read a book by the same author and I didn’t read a book with the the same theme. I would recommend the book.What I liked about the students book report is that he did it very well.

I did my book report on Dieppe the darkest day of Canada in world war 2. It was one of the best books I’ve ever read.

I like the idea from
Twilight
is that there are vampires. I wonder how they stop James.
I have never read a book a book by the same author but I have read many books about vampires.
I recommend these to my mom because she likes reading about vampires.

What I like about
Halo Ghosts of Onyx
is that there are aliens that you have to destroy to save the world. I have not read a book by the same author. I have read a simaller book though, about Halo. I would recomend this book to some one who likes to read a book about violence.

1. The part that sounds good about this book is when Bella
meets a strange family.

Twilght is a book about vampires. The main character of the story is Bella. Bella lives with her dad. I like the book Twilight because the story has a lot of action and you have no clue what happens. I never read another book about vampires.

I am going to be talking about Twlight, Twlight is very intersting.
The best part i liked about it when bella was beside her car and then a car almost hit her when EDWARD saved her and that was amazing.
No i have not read any other books by the same author and No i didn’t read any other simular books by a diffrent author.
I would highly recommend this book to people who are intersted in vampires,action and attack.
p.s i have watched a lot of movies about vampires

I like the Halo Onyx because I love action genres. I did not read a book by the same author. But I have read a book similar Harry Potter By J.K. Rowling It’s about a boy who is a wizard. I do reccomend this book because It is really actioney.
